Many communities in Ohio already celebrate this fatherhood initiative. This legislation would create the Long-term Care Workforce Study Commission, aimed at developing policy recommendations to support Ohio’s direct care workers and those they care for.

This bipartisan legislation requires community-based correctional facilities and programs to assist individuals in custody in obtaining a state-issued identification card prior to their release. An amendment to include halfway houses was added in the Senate.
