Rep. Robb Blasdel Tours City of Columbiana's New Emergency Response Trailer
Columbiana, OH — State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-Columbiana) joined Columbiana City officials Tuesday to tour the area’s new state-of-the-art emergency response trailer, highlighting a key investment in local emergency preparedness funded through the state operating budget.
The mobile command post was made possible by a $250,000 appropriation included in House Bill 33 during the 135th General Assembly. The funding supports Columbiana’s efforts to strengthen local emergency coordination and disaster response capabilities.
“I’m proud to have helped secure this funding for the City of Columbiana,” said Robb Blasdel. “This mobile command unit will be a critical tool in keeping our community safe and ensuring first responders are equipped to act quickly and effectively in times of crisis.”
The new trailer, designed and built by Mobile Concepts, provides a fully equipped, mobile emergency operations center capable of supporting local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and emergency management personnel during large-scale incidents, community events, or natural disasters.
