Rep. Robb Blasdel Showcases Tourism in Ohio
State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-New Waterford) today announced that Ohio’s tourism industry welcomed over 240 million visitors in 2024, supporting thousands of local businesses and attractions across the state, generating over $57 billion in revenue, according to the Ohio Department of Development.
Rep. Robb Blasdel, who serves on the House Arts, Athletics, and Tourism Committee, emphasized the importance of Ohio’s natural beauty and historic landmarks in drawing visitors to the state.
“Our state parks and historic sites are treasures for residents and visitors alike,” said Rep. Robb Blasdel. “We encourage everyone to explore these unique destinations and enjoy all our great state has to offer.”
From national parks and historical monuments, to beloved local restaurants, wineries, museums, and more, Ohio offers an incredible variety of destinations for visitors from near and far.

- Beaver Creek State Park – A beautiful 2,722-acre park in Columbiana County. Remnants of the historic Sandy and Beaver Canal can be found throughout the park.
- Hellbender Bluff County Park – Located in Lisbon, this 732-acre park has nature trails for hiking and bike riding.
- Atwood Lake Park – Located right on the shores of Atwood Lake, you will find renovated campsites, cabins, and places to board, fish, hike, and more.
