Rep. Hall Announces Metro RTA Offering Free Fares on Election Day, Veterans' Day, and Giving Tuesday

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Derrick Hall (D-Akron) today announced that Metro RTA, Summit County’s bussing system, will be offering free fares on Election Day on November 4th, Veterans’ Day on November 11th, and Giving Tuesday on December 2nd.

“This offer comes at a time where local civic engagement and community support are crucial. I encourage my constituents to use this opportunity to get out and vote, support our veterans and neighbors, and become more involved in the community,” said Rep. Hall.

Free rides will be available on METRO Direct and METRO ADA services. On election day, the polls will be open from 6:30am to 7:30pm. Voters can locate their polling place by visiting the Summit County Board of Elections website.
