COLUMBUS – Today, State Representative Ron Ferguson (R- Wintersville) filed legislation specifying that any costs incurred from holding a second primary election will be taken from the Ohio Supreme Court’s budget.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Ron Ferguson (R- Jefferson, Monroe and Belmont) held a press conference today regarding Ohio’s bifurcated primary election. 

COLUMBUS, OHIO – Today, State Representative Sarah Fowler Arthur (R-Ashtabula) and State Representative Ron Ferguson (R- Jefferson, Monroe and Belmont) filed House Bill 563 to protect the rights of Ohioans to use their property as a short-term rental (STR). The bill seeks to eliminate the development of regulations that would place outright bans on STRs and limit the duration of use, it does not prohibit the ability of municipalities to regulate STRs, it only ensures that STRs be subjected to the same regulations as long-term rentals and that those regulations address public safety or nuisance issues.

COLUMBUS - The state controlling board has approved the release of funding for two projects in Ohio’s 96th district, State Representative Ron Ferguson announced today. 

COLUMBUS – State Representative Kevin Miller (R-Newark) and State Representative Ron Ferguson (R-Wintersville) announced the passing of House Bill 392, which authorizes emergency medical personnel to transport a police dog by ambulance if the K-9 is injured in the line of duty. The legislation passed the house with a vote of 84-0. 

COLUMBUS - The state controlling board has approved the release of $550,725.00 for a Roof Replacements project at the Belmont Correctional Institution, State Representative Ron Ferguson announced today. 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 110, the House’s version of Ohio’s two-year budget plan. State Representative Ron Ferguson (R-Wintersville) voted in support of the bill.
