Controlling Board Approves $550,735.00 for the Belmont Correctional Institution

COLUMBUS - The state controlling board has approved the release of $550,725.00 for a Roof Replacements project at the Belmont Correctional Institution, State Representative Ron Ferguson announced today. 

The funding will support the replacement of a new roofing system for fourteen buildings, approximately 208,000 square feet. 

Additionally, the board also approved $180,990.00 for electronic renovations at the Belmont Correctional Institute. 

“This will help the correctional institute ensure its facilities are safe and updated allowing the facility to best serve eastern Ohio,” said Ferguson.
