Ron Ferguson Biography

State Representative Ron Ferguson is currently serving his second term as State Representative for the 96th Ohio house district, which includes all of Jefferson and Monroe Counties and a portion of eastern Belmont County.

Raised in the Ohio Valley, Representative Ferguson graduated from Indian Creek High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from The Ohio State University. During his time at OSU, Representative Ferguson was a Politics, Society and Law Scholar.

Representative Ferguson spent five years working as a television journalist, most recently for WTOV-TV in Steubenville, and in spring 2023, he is opening an entertainment center to bring jobs and fun activities for families in the community.

Representative Ferguson resides in Wintersville with his wife, Emma, and their daughter, Ava.
