Jean Schmit (R-Loveland) will be introducing the So Every BODY Can Move (SEBCM) Act in the Ohio House of Representatives. The SEBCM Act will provide insurance coverage to individuals with prosthetics and orthotics so they are able to obtain the devices that are waterproof and can assist them in their everyday lives.

Wednesday celebrated the Ohio House and Senate’s passage of House Bill (HB) 57, which expands access to overdose-reversal drugs in schools. The bipartisan bill passed with a vote of 28-4 in the Ohio Senate and 76-18 in the Ohio House of Representatives.

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Dontavius L. Jarrells (D-Columbus), alongside the House Democratic members on the Joint Committee on Congressional Redistricting today advocated for a hearing on House Bill (HB) 442. Monday’s first public hearing did not include a Republican proposed map. Democrats will continue to hold Republicans accountable for their attempt to tip the scales of democracy with extreme partisan gerrymandering, at the request of President Donald Trump.
