Ohio House of Representatives Passes HB 29

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Darnell T. Brewer (D-Cleveland) is pleased to announce the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill (HB) 29 Wednesday by a 84-0 vote. Jointly sponsored with State Rep. Latyna Humphrey (D-Columbus), the bill authorizes a person whose driver’s license is suspended for failure to pay child support to petition a court for limited driving privileges.

 "This legislation is a great step in the right direction for reform of our court system to help people in the way it was intended. We still have strides to make, but I appreciate my colleague and joint-sponsor Representative Humphrey for taking charge of this bill and allowing me to work on this initiative with her," said Rep. Brewer.
