Rep. Russo votes to deliver $5,376,620 in American Rescue Plan funds to House District 24

COLUMBUS – House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) yesterday voted in favor of House Bill (HB) 377, bipartisan legislation to release the second, $442 million batch of local government funding from President Biden’s American Rescue Plan to Ohio’s cities, villages and townships serving 50,000 people or less. Communities of more than 50,000 people receive their allocation directly from the federal government.

Democrats stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence, urge action on justice reform

COLUMBUS –Ohio House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington), Minority Whip Jessica E. Miranda (D-Forest Park), Rep. Tavia Galonski (D-Akron) and Rep. Kristen Boggs (D-Columbus) issued a statement in solidarity with the sexual assault survivors and allies who rallied at the Ohio Statehouse today to urge the General Assembly to take immediate action on legislation that would expand opportunities for survivors seeking the justice they deserve. Reps. Miranda and Boggs both spoke at today’s rally.

Dems Urge Redistricting Commission to Provide Feedback on State Legislative Map Proposal

COLUMBUS – Today, Ohio Redistricting Commission Co-Chair Sen. Vernon Sykes (D-Akron) and House Minority Leader and Commission member Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) sent a letter to the Republican members of the Commission to request feedback on their state legislative map proposal by 9 a.m. on February 17.
