Richardson Attends Opening of New Bridge Connecting Marysville's Green Spaces

COLUMBUS – State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville) recently attended the opening of the new 166 feet Reservoir Connector Bridge in Marysville that will connect the Jim Simmons trail to the city’s upground reservoir trail.

Marysville received $500,000 in capital budget funding to help financially support the $1.35 million project. Richardson advocated for this project in the capital budget. 

“The new bridge began with a vision to provide more access to trails and parks for residents,” said Richardson. “After working with members of the community and also the Ohio General Assembly to assist with funding, I’m excited the day is here to dedicate the new bridge. I hope it will provide recreational opportunities for our residents for many years to come.”

The bridge will connect the more than 10 miles of trails offered around Marysville.
