State Representative Tracy Richardson (R-Marysville), Chair of the House Veterans and Military Development Committee, yesterday took a tour of NASA’s Glenn Research Center, along with other Veterans and Military Development Committee members. This visit highlighted the state’s critical support of the aerospace industry.

“I’m honored to chair this dedicated and committed group of leaders and initiated this tour as part of a series of statewide visits to key installations. The goal is to provide members of the Ohio House Veterans and Military Development Committee the opportunity to listen, to learn and to support our Military, Veterans and Defense economy.  It’s about awareness,” said Richardson

After unanimous support in the House Veterans and Military Development Committee, the Ohio House recently passed House Resolution 60 – legislation supporting the relocation of the NASA Headquarters to Cleveland, Ohio. This resolution emphasizes that Ohio is fully equipped and uniquely positioned to support NASA’s future success.

“Supporting the relocation of the NASA headquarters to Cleveland isn’t just a symbolic gesture – it’s a strategic move rooted in history and foundation,” said Richardson. “We have the people, talent, and tools needed to help NASA achieve their goals. Touring NASA Glenn today made that even more clear. Their hospitality reflects our shared commitment to building greater opportunities.”

“As the proud home of NASA’s Glenn Research Center, Northeast Ohio continues to lead in aerospace innovation,” said Dovilla. “Glenn’s work not only advances national research but also drives economic growth and high-skilled jobs across our region.”

Today’s visit demonstrated Ohio’s determination to supporting military and space-related development, advancing technological frontiers, and honoring those who serve the cause of science and innovation.
