Lorain County Health & Dentistry will use these funds for new dental equipment including operatory, radiography and sterilization equipment for a new Community Health Center. The center will have seven exam rooms, six dental operatories, two counseling/behavioral health offices, and additional clinical and administrative space.

Sean Patrick Brennan (D-Parma) Wednesday introduced an amendment to House Bill (HB) 335 that would’ve doubled the Homestead Exemption for Ohio seniors and disabled homeowners, offering what he described as “substantive, noticeable, and state-funded property tax relief” for those struggling on fixed incomes. The amendment was tabled on the House floor, preventing this provision from being added to HB 335 which was passed in a later vote Wednesday.
