COLUMBUS – State Rep. Al Cutrona (R-Canfield) announced he will be sponsoring legislation with the goal of preventing sex predators from working or volunteering in a position that affords extensive contact with minor children.

State Representative Bob Cupp (R-Lima) lauded yesterday’s passage of House Bill 123 by the Ohio House of Representatives.  Cupp is a joint-sponsor of the bill.

Today, State Representative Tony Burkley (R-Payne) applauded the Ohio House’s passage of legislation that grants agritourism operators civil liability protection for injuries that occur during agritourism activities.

The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 142 with broad bipartisan support, which would designate the month of March as “Endometriosis Awareness Month.” The bill was sponsored by Representative Christina Hagan (R-Alliance), who testified in the House Health & Aging Committee and spoke on the House floor about the debilitating effects of the disease.

The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 37 with broad bipartisan support. HB 37, sponsored by State Representatives Mike Duffey (R-Worthington) and Michael Stinziano (D-Columbus), will help the many small businesses located in Central Ohio’s historic North Market by allowing a person to possess beer or liquor on the premises without violating Ohio law if the beverage was purchased by a qualified permit holder in that market.
