Rep. Brennan Announces Student and Educator Appreciation Program

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Sean Patrick Brennan (Parma) today announced his student and educator of the month program. Residents of Ohio House District 14 are encouraged to nominate deserving K-12 students or educators who reside, learn, or teach within the district, which includes Parma, Parma Heights, and Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn, Brooklyn Centre, Clark-Fulton, and South Hills neighborhoods.

This program is especially special to Rep. Brennan who was a public school social studies teacher for three decades prior to serving in the House. Rep. Brennan and his office will select a winning student and educator (or counselor, teacher's assistant, intervention specialist, paraprofessional, etc.) each month. The winning student and educator will receive an official commendation from Rep. Brennan’s office, as well as a gift card to a local business.

“I created this program because there are young people and educators doing great things in our schools every day.  These individuals are worthy of recognition by the community, and I want to play a part in making that happen. In fact, I encourage everyone to find ways to recognize great kids and teachers,” said Rep. Brennan.
