COLUMBUS - State Rep. Munira Abdullahi (D-Columbus) today announced that more than $1.2M has been awarded to the development of central Ohio’s public transit systems and infrastructure. The funding comes from Governor Mike DeWine’s and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT)’s Ohio Workforce Mobility Partnership Program (OWMP).

The funding is part of the first round of the Welcome Home Ohio program, which is investing a total of $100M in grants over two years to help landbanks purchase, rehabilitate, or build qualifying residential properties for income-eligible Ohioans.
