House Passes Bill Designating the "Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Vance M. Andrews Memorial Highway"

COLUMBUS, OHIO – State Representatives Mark Hiner (R-Howard) and Kevin Miller (R-Newark) today announced that the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 430, legislation they jointly sponsored that dedicates a section of State Route 13 in Mount Vernon, Knox County, as the “Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Vance M. Andrews Memorial Highway."

Hiner Honors Carol Fitzsimons at the Ohio Statehouse

State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) recently honored Howard resident Carol Fitzsimons at the Ohio Statehouse, recognizing her decades of competition and advocacy in the Transplant Games. In celebration of her upcoming induction into the Transplant Games Hall of Fame, Fitzsimons was presented with a ceremonial American flag to take with her to this year’s games.

Rep. Hiner Votes to Override Veto, Spurring Property Tax Relief for Ohioans

Representative Hiner Announces Funding for Warsaw Water Line Expansion

State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) is proud to announce that the recently passed state budget includes $500,000 to expand water lines from the City of Coshocton to the Village of Warsaw. This investment, combined with support from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, state grants and loans, and strong local collaboration, will ensure safe, reliable water for residents and students while supporting future growth along the US-36 corridor.
