State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) recently voted in support of Senate Concurrent Resolution 5 – urging President Trump to support the Ohio Department of Medicaid’s pending request to implement work requirements for Medicaid expansion recipients.

State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) is pleased to highlight five outstanding athletes from Mount Vernon High School on securing various championship titles this season. Ashlynn Brokaw and Alex Taylor both secured state titles, and Mavrik Gregory, Luke Mullins, and Jake Taylor won a combination of league, sectional, and district titles. Together, they secured a Licking County League Championship as a team.

This forward-looking, fiscally responsible budget plan invests in Ohio families and the state’s future – approving over $4 billion in record property tax relief for Ohioans and ensuring that every school district in the state receives an increase in school funding in fiscal years 2026 and 2027.
