State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) voted in support of a comprehensive legislative package aimed at fighting fraud, waste and abuse within Ohio’s Medicaid program with the goal of protecting taxpayer dollars. 

State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) today announced that the Ohio House of Representatives has passed House Bill 284, legislation that requires state-funded projects to use American-made iron and steel, and House Bill 563, legislation that regulates ticket sales in an effort to promote transparency and protect Ohio consumers. 

COLUMBUS, OH – State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) this week voted in support of Ohio’s Capital Budget bill, a two-year capital improvements budget for state and community projects throughout the state totaling nearly $4 billion.

State Representative Mark Hiner (R-Howard) has introduced a resolution that, if adopted by the General Assembly and approved by the voters, would amend Ohio’s Constitution beginning in tax year 2027 to exempt owner-occupied residences from property taxes, providing over $10 billion in property tax relief to homeowners.
