Miller Votes in Favor of Veto Override

COLUMBUS – State Representative Kevin Miller (R-Newark) today made the following statement in response to the Ohio House overriding Governor DeWine’s veto of House Bill 68, the SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act.

“My colleagues and I exercised our rights as a legislative body to override Governor DeWine’s veto on the SAFE Act and Save Women’s Sports Act,” Miller said. “Legislation that protects our children and women’s sports should not be overlooked or taken lightly. I encourage the Senate to override the veto as well.”

The veto override of the SAFE Act will now be considered by the Ohio Senate.
