Ohio House Appalachian Caucus Convenes First Meeting of the 136th General Assembly
COLUMBUS—State Representatives Justin Pizzulli (R-Scioto County) and Kevin Ritter (R-Washington County) are pleased to announce the formation of the Appalachian Caucus, a bi-cameral, bipartisan gathering of state legislators serving Appalachia. Pizzulli and Ritter were chosen by the members as the co-chairs of the Caucus.
The group will work collaboratively to advance policies that will enhance the region’s economy and overall quality of life.
“The best policy is formed through collaboration,” said Pizzulli. “Together, as a caucus, we hope to share ideas, discuss challenges, and craft solutions for the betterment of Appalachian counties through Ohio.”
“The future of Ohio runs right though Appalachia,” said Ritter. “Strong families, deep faith, innovative business practices, and a strong work ethic are powering a transformation sweeping our region and beyond.”
