State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Amherst) today announced the release of $25,000 in grant funding for restoration work at the First Church in Oberlin, which will be used to replace the metal crown of the church’s cupola, among other projects.

“The First Church in Oberlin and the City of Oberlin have done tremendous work together to secure this competitive grant,” said Rep. Miller. “Collaborative efforts such as this ensure that the First Church in Oberlin will continue to be a source of local pride for generations to come.”

The Senate removed those provisions in its version of HB 166.
