State Controlling Board Approves Loan for Local Business Growth Project
COLUMBUS—State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) is pleased to announce the Ohio Controlling Board approved the release of a $373,331 Regional 166 Direct loan to support a project in Lorain County expected to facilitate business growth and employment.
The loan will be used to assist in financing the purchase and renovation of a 11,680 square foot industrial warehouse in Elyria, Ohio for Armstrong Steel Erectors, Inc. The project will result in the creation of three new full-time jobs and the retention of 20 existing jobs at the project site.
“This project will directly create and retain jobs in our district, resulting in economic growth,” said Manning.
Armstrong Steel Erectors, Inc. is a general contracting company that specializes in bridge construction and renovation.
The Ohio Controlling Board oversees requests for changes to budgetary authority for state agencies.
