COLUMBUS - Today, State Rep. Daniel P. Troy (D-Willowick) presented an Ohio House of Representatives resolution to staff and board members from the Fairport Harbor Public Library, honoring its centennial anniversary.
"For 100 years, the Fairport Harbor Public Library has served as a cornerstone of the Fairport Harbor community. By providing exceptional programs and resources to residents of all ages, the library played a crucial role in educating, informing, and engaging our citizenry. I want to thank all of the staff, supporters, and board members, both past and present, whose dedication to the Fairport Harbor Public Library has helped make our community a wonderful place to live,” said Rep. Troy.
Established in 1922, with modest beginnings, the Fairport Harbor Public Library has grown substantially over the last 100 years, and it's something Library Director Kara Cervelli and the entire Fairport Harbor community are very proud of.
"We are extremely honored to receive this resolution from Rep. Troy, and our state assembly, and thank them for recognizing that the public library supports everyone and brings our community together,” said Kara Cervelli.
Located at 335 Vine Street in Fairport Harbor, the library is open to the public Monday-Saturday. To learn more about the library and the programs it provides, visit fairportlibrary.com.
