COLUMBUS—State Representative Angie King (R-Celina) recently introduced House Bill 504, legislation to provide local governments tools to mitigate sudden property tax spikes. 

COLUMBUS – State Representatives Tim Barhorst (R-Fort Loramie) and Angie King (R-Celina) today announced the introduction of new legislation to give county budget commissions more authority to limit sudden property tax increases and provide relief for Ohio homeowners. 

COLUMBUS – State Representative Angie King (R-Celina) today announced that nearly $20 million in grant funds have been awarded to 21 nonprofit organizations across the state through Ohio’s Parenting and Pregnancy Program, according to the Ohio Department of Children and Youth.

The legislation is designed to create an alert system to help locate missing children with autism. Rep. Thomas stood alongside Jonisa Cook, the mother of Joshua Al-Lateef Jr., as she shared the heartbreaking story of the night her son went missing on November 20, 2024. Her testimony underscored how this legislation is not only critical, but potentially lifesaving.

State Representative Angie King (R-Celina) today announced that the USDA Supplemental Disaster Relief Program (SDRP) application is now open. This program provides critical financial assistance to farmers impacted by natural disasters in 2023 and 2024. A total of $16 billion in federal funding is available. 

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) today celebrated the Ohio Controlling Board’s approval of a $200K tech start-up grant for Meteora3D. The grant will help the company commercialize its innovative 3D printing technology that creates anatomical models from X-ray and MRI scans.

 State Representative Angie King (R-Celina) announced the Governor of Ohio has approved House Bill 96 – the State Operating Budget, enacting the legislation officially into law. Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board has approved the release of $ $662,661  for the purchase of new equipment to refresh and expand the Ohio Cyber Range infrastructure in Cincinnati, Hamilton County. The funds will be used to acquire the necessary hardware from CDW-G, based in Vernon Hills, Illinois.

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board has approved the release of $ $325,000  for the purchase of essential WBTE (Work-Based Training Equipment) for Cincinnati State Technical and Community College. This funding includes $303,403 for awarded bids and an additional $21,597 for additional lab equipment.
