COLUMBUS – State Rep. Andrea White (R-Kettering) today announced the Ohio General Assembly has approved House Bill 252, legislation that enables Ohio to join the Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ALSP-IC). 

COLUMBUS— State Rep. Tom Brinkman (R-27th District) announced state lawmakers have approved House Bill 75, the FY 22-23 Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) budget. The bill, including federal grants, contains $715 million over the biennium. 

COLUMBUS – Legislation revising Ohio’s massage therapy law was approved yesterday by the Ohio House of Representatives, announced State Reps. Susan Manchester (R-Waynesfield) and Phil Plummer (R-Dayton).

COLUMBUS – The Ohio House of Representatives today passed House Bill 44, sponsored by State Representatives Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) and Joe Miller (D-Amherst) to stiffen penalties for assault when the victim is a sports official in the course of their official duties. The sponsors note a recent uptick in assaults on sports officials and a decline in available referees, hoping that this additional measure will create a safer environment for all involved.
