In the ever evolving age of technology, society has reaped many benefits from having the world at our fingertips. State Representative Wes Retherford (R-Hamilton) recently received the “Legislator of the Year” Award by AMVETS, an organization that assists veterans and their families upon returning home. He received the award on Saturday, February 20th during its annual mid-winter conference.

For over fifty years, the Ohio General Assembly has sponsored a legislative fellowship program through the Ohio Legislative Service Commission (LSC). The program is a thirteen-month paid fellowship that places twenty to twenty-four college graduates in various positions throughout the state legislature.
