COLUMBUS – State Reps. Tristan Rader (D-Lakewood) and Munira Abdullahi (D-Columbus) today released the following statement following the House passage of House Bill (HB) 292 which would establish the Ohio Defense Commission:

COLUMBUS — State Reps. Tristan Rader (D-Lakewood) and David Thomas (R-Jefferson) today announced bipartisan legislation to establish minimum statewide standards for electric service agreements with data center customers. The bill would ensure costs of new infrastructure and grid upgrades needed to serve these facilities are not shifted onto existing Ohio ratepayers.

COLUMBUS — State Reps. Tristan Rader (D-Lakewood) and Christine Cockley (D-Columbus) today sent a letter to the Ohio Oil and Gas Land Management Commission to oppose new permits for oil and gas development under the Egypt Valley Wildlife Area.

COLUMBUS- House Bill 661, legislation that regulates imitation meat and egg products, has been introduced by State Representative Roy Klopfenstein (R- Haviland) and State Representative Jack Daniels (R- New Franklin).

Christine Cockley (D-Columbus) and Tristan Rader (D-Lakewood) today announced they will be introducing legislation which would prevent agencies, officials, and data brokers from selling or distributing sensitive personal data unless it is used for a legally defined permitted purpose.

State Representative Tim Barhorst (R-Ft. Loramie) today announced that Lake Loramie was awarded $1.745 million for dredging through House Bill 479.

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Tristan Rader (D-Lakewood) Wednesday applauded the bipartisan passage of House Bill (HB) 303 through the Ohio House of Representatives. This bill is a community energy pilot program to build community energy projects across the state of Ohio. Community energy projects, that include small-scale solar gardens and rooftop solar, bring power generation to the local level and save consumers money in transmission costs.
