Young Sworn in to Serve Ohio's 42nd House District

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Tom Young (R-Centerville) today took the oath of office for his first term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives. He represents the 42nd House district, which consists of southern Montgomery County. 

“I am honored to be able to apply the experience and leadership I have gained in the private and public sectors to help build a better future for the citizens of Ohio,” said Young.

Representative Young has served Montgomery County in many capacities throughout his life. Before his election to the Ohio House, Young served as member of the Montgomery County Board of Elections. He also previously served on the Wright State University Board of Trustees. Currently, Young works as the Senior Vice President to a wealth management company. 

Young was sworn in during today’s session, which marked the beginning of the 134th General Assembly.
