Odioso, Hall Highlight Legislation Expanding Computer Science Access for All Ohio Students

State Representatives Mike Odioso (R-Green Twp) and Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp) introduced House Bill 594 at the end of 2025. This legislation is designed to expand computer science education in every public high school and ensure all Ohio students graduate prepared for an AI-driven economy. The bill is a response to the critical workforce need identified by industry leaders throughout the state.

Odioso to Speak at Ohio Computer Science & AI for All Advocacy Day

COLUMBUS—State Representative Mike Odioso (R-Green Twp.) will provide remarks at the Ohio Computer Science & AI for All Advocacy Day, which will take place later this month at the Ohio Statehouse. Nearly 80 K-12 students and educators from across the state will gather to highlight how computer science and AI education prepares students for high-demand careers and strengthens Ohio’s workforce competitiveness.

Odioso Applauds Plan to Extend Operations at Miami Fort Power Plant

State Representative Mike Odioso (R-Green Twp.) is extremely pleased that Vistra plans to continue operating the Miami Fort Power Plant beyond 2027 and convert the plant to a modern, natural gas-fueled operation.  Vistra leaders discussed the plans at a recent event, celebrating 100 years of generating power at the Miami Fort site.

Odioso, Lett Introduce Bill to Expand Inclusive Housing Options for People with Developmental Disabilities

State Representatives Mike Odioso (R-Green Twp) and Crystal Lett (D-Columbus) introduced legislation to modernize the state’s Community Capital Assistance (CCA) program and expand affordable housing opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. The bill will amend the section of the Ohio Administrative Code 5123-1-03: Community Capital Assistance Funds – Acquisition of Housing to align with state-supported housing with modern best practices of inclusion, affordability, and community integration.
