COLUMBUS—State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland), Chair of the Arts, Athletics, and Tourism Committee, today announced the introduction of legislation that creates the “Ohio, The Heart of It All Pass” Program, a new statewide initiative that would allow Ohioans and visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy more of Ohio’s thriving tourism industry. 

COLUMBUS –State Representative Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) is pleased to announce that fire departments across Defiance, Paulding, Putnam and Van Wert counties have been awarded more than $806,000 through the newly created Small County Volunteer Fire Department (SCVFD) Grant Program, established in the state budget championed by House Republicans.

COLUMBUS –State Representative Rodney Creech (R-West Alexandria) is pleased to announce that fire departments across Preble County have been awarded nearly $100,000 through the newly created Small County Volunteer Fire Department (SCVFD) Grant Program, established in the state budget championed by House Republicans.

State Representative Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) attended the ceremonial bill signing of House Bill 23 on Thursday, hosted by Governor DeWine. This legislation creates the Escaped Convict Alert Program (ECAP), which will strengthen public safety through a new alert system to notify residents when a nearby convict escapes from custody. 

State Representatives Riordan McClain (R-Upper Sandusky) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) continued efforts to expand access to midwifery services through the reintroduction of legislation that creates a new licensure framework for midwives in Ohio.
