Oelslager Supports Funding of New North Canton School

COLUMBUS – State Representative Scott Oelslager (R-North Canton) issued the following statement Thursday following the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission’s approval of state funding for the North Canton City School District construction project. 

The OFCC will contribute $33.8 million to the $57.6 million project to build a new middle school. The new district building will house 5th through 8th grades. Funding for the project comes from the Capital Budget drafted and supported by Oelslager.

This is an important action that will allow teachers and administration to focus on the education of the student body. The state has shown by awarding this grant that they are investing in the future of North Canton.”
