(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – State Representative Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) today voted in support of Ohio’s Capital Budget bill, a two-year capital improvements budget for state and community projects throughout the state totaling nearly $4 billion.

State Representatives Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) this week provided sponsor testimony on “Trey’s Law” in the Ohio House Judiciary Committee. House Bill 723 strengthens protections for victims of sexual abuse and ensures perpetrators are held accountable for their crimes. 

State Representative Roy Klopfenstein (R-Haviland) on Monday joined a roundtable with Alex Fitzsimmons, Acting Undersecretary of Energy for the U.S. Department of Energy; State Representative Adam Holmes (R-Nashport), State Representative Adam Mathews (R-Lebanon), Chair of the House Energy Committee; State Representative David Thomas (R-Jefferson); and representatives from the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) to discuss the Ratepayer Protection Pledge and Ohio’s leadership on data center accountability, which includes Ohio HB 706.
