Bill to Designate Ohio Nursing Assistants Week Passes Ohio House

COLUMBUS– State Rep. Rachel Baker (D-Cincinnati) announced today the passage of House Bill (HB) 188, legislation that would designate the second full week in June as Ohio Nursing Assistants Week.
“Nursing assistants are essential to the operations of healthcare systems,” said Rep. Baker. “I am honored to carry this legislation to recognize the extremely important role that nursing assistants play.”
The bill now heads to the Ohio Senate to begin the committee process.
