State Rep. Melanie Miller (R-City of Ashland) invited and presented a proclamation from the Ohio House Representatives to Miss Ohio 2022, Elizabetta Nies, during a recognition ceremony on the House floor. Miller also acknowledged Nies and other young women vying for this year’s Miss Ohio during the legislative session.

COLUMBUS – Two significant pieces of legislation sponsored by State Rep. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) yesterday passed out of the Ohio House.

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio House of Representatives yesterday unanimously passed House Bill 61, declaring November 19th as James A. Garfield Day, announced joint sponsors Representative Jamie Callender (R- Concord) and Representative Dan Troy (D- Willowick). This vote came after unanimous passage by the House State and Local Government Committee back in March.

State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) today announced the Ohio House passed House Bill 758, the “Brenna Brossard SUDEP Awareness Act.” The bipartisan legislation would raise awareness of SUDEP, or Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy, by ensuring patients, families, healthcare providers, and first responders have access to prevention information and resources.
