Rep. Robinson, House Democrats pass sweeping legislation to address COVID-19 crisis

COLUMBUS— State lawmakers returned to the Statehouse today to address the COVID-19 crisis and provide immediate relief to everyday Ohioans. State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) released a statement today following the unanimous passage of an omnibus bill, amended House Bill (HB) 197, that would prohibit utility shut-offs, waive state testing requirements, freeze EdChoice eligibility, extend voting in the primary election, postpone the state income tax filing deadline among several other measures.

Rep. Robinson, group of Democratic lawmakers introduce package to aid schools amid pandemic

COLUMBUS- Several Democratic lawmakers, including Reps. John Patterson (D- Jefferson), Phil Robinson (D-Solon), Joe Miller (D-Amherst) and Mary Lightbody (D-Westerville), today introduced a legislative package to mitigate the negative impacts schools are facing as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. The package would provide resources and allow already overburdened school districts to take the necessary steps to recover from the repercussions of this ongoing public health crisis.

Rep. Robinson cancels March in-district office hours and Mayfield Village Town Hall

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) today announced the cancelation of the Robinson Roundtable previously scheduled for this Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. at the Solon Public Library, and will be rescheduling the upcoming District 6 Tour Town Hall on Monday, April 6at 6:30 PM at the Mayfield Village Community Room.

Rep. Robinson Announces In-District Events For February

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) today announced his next “Robinson Roundtable,” an in-district, open office hours on Saturday, Feb. 22, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Brecksville Public Library, as well as the next stop on the District 6 Town Hall Tour, Monday, Feb. 3, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Seven Hills Community Recreation Center in Seven Hills, Ohio. In-district office hours and town halls are free, do not require appointments, and open to the public.
