Rep. Robinson to Host Series of September Town Halls, Part of Ohio Promise: Opportunity Agenda Tour

First in-person events since start of COVID-19 pandemic, bringing statehouse updates to District 6 residents

State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) will host three stops on the Ohio House Democrats’ Ohio Promise: Opportunity Agenda Tour:

Solon Town Hall: Monday, September 13 at 6:30 PM at the Solon Community Center
Mayfield Village Town Hall: Monday, September 20 at 6:00 PM at the Mayfield Village Civic Center
Broadview Heights Town Hall: Thursday, September 30 at 6:30 PM at the Broadview Hts. City Hall

“Whether it is our state operating budget, fair school funding or redistricting, there are relevant and timely topics affecting Ohio that are important to discuss. I look forward to updating my constituents about these issues and engaging in insightful conversation,” said Rep. Robinson. “I am proceeding cautiously with the rising cases of COVID-19. Even though I have had great success with our virtual town halls, I felt it was important to hold an in-person event for those who don’t have easy access to the internet. I encourage everyone who attends our town hall events to wear a mask, do your best to practice social distancing, and stay at home if you are not feeling well or have COVID-19 symptoms. Otherwise, I look forward to hearing our neighbors’ thoughts, concerns and questions on the issues facing our state and communities. I work for the residents of House District 6.”

This event is part of a statewide series of town halls where local lawmakers will discuss issues including jobs and economic development, education, protecting healthcare access, redistricting, and the freedom to vote. The town halls will also provide citizens with the opportunity to ask questions and offer input on ways to address the issues facing their communities.

This town hall will highlight the 2022-2023 state operating budget, the Fair School Funding Plan, Rep. Robinson’s policy priorities, upcoming General Assembly sessions, and other legislative updates.
