Rep. Robinson announces committee assignments for the 133rd General Assembly

Lawmaker to serve as ranking Democrat on House Primary & Secondary Education Committee

State Rep. Phil Robinson (D-Solon) released the following statement this week on his appointment as Ranking Member of the Ohio House Primary and Secondary Education Committee. He will also serve on the Ways and Means and Public Utilities Committees:

“The confidence that Speaker Householder and Leader Sykes have expressed in me to serve as ranking member on such an important committee is something I don’t take lightly. I will work hard alongside Chairman Blessing, Vice-Chairman Jones and members of my caucus on the committee to build bipartisan solutions to the many important issues surrounding Ohio’s education system today.

“I also look forward to ensuring our state’s tax system treats taxpayers and small businesses fairly. And whether it’s a constituent’s electric bill, or making certain they are drinking clean water, I will work to assure consumers across Ohio are treated fairly and ethically by utility companies.”
