COLUMBUS – State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) today voted in support of the E-Verify Workforce Integrity Act, or H.B. 246, legislation to ensure all workers hired in Ohio for covered construction projects are legally authorized to work in the United States.

COLUMBUS – State Representatives Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) and Tom Young (R-Washington Twp.) testified before the House Education Committee on Tuesday in support of House Bill 304 –legislation to allow club sports to fulfill high school physical education requirements.

State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) is pleased to announce that the Ohio House of Representatives this week passed Senate Bill 100, which creates an opportunity for members of the Ohio Farm Bureau to access a more affordable, personalized health insurance coverage plan. 

COLUMBUS – State Representative Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) and Assistant Minority Leader Representative Dontavius L. Jarrells (D-Columbus) provided sponsor testimony in the House Arts, Athletics and Tourism Committee Tuesday to create the Ohio Sports Commission, which would help attract, promote and develop national and international sporting events to Ohio.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Melanie Miller (R-City of Ashland) is pleased to announce that the Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 204, bipartisan legislation to recognize 6888th Central Post Battalion, with unanimous support. 

State Representatives Tom Young (R-Washington Twp.) and Melanie Miller (R-Ashland) recently introduced legislation that expands Ohio’s physical education waiver to include club sports or other athletic activities, allowing students who participate in these activities to use them to fulfill graduation requirements.
