Rep. Lawson-Rowe Announces $3.7M for Rickenbacker Construction Services

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Meredith Lawson-Rowe (D-Reynoldsburg) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $3.7M general construction services at Rickenbacker Ohio Air National Guard Base in Franklin County.

“I am excited to announce this important funding that will be directly invested for the benefit of House District 5,” said Rep. Lawson-Rowe. “These funds will provide much needed renovation and improvements at Rickenbacker, ensuring that they continue to function as a state-of-the-art, top military base in Ohio and our nation.”

This specific project will complete ongoing renovations to the air base to convert use of an existing structure to serve as a medical assessment facility with an EKG room, six medical exam rooms, a dental x-ray room, waiting room, and upgraded and expanded restrooms.
