Rep. Lawson-Rowe Announces $138K for Rickenbacker Army Base Parking Lot Renovations

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Meredith Lawson-Rowe (D-Reynoldsburg) Monday announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $138K for parking renovations at Rickenbacker Army Base in Franklin County.

“I am excited to announce this important funding that will be directly invested for the benefit of House District 5,” said Rep. Lawson-Rowe. “These funds will provide much needed renovations to the parking lot of Rickenbacker Army Base, ensuring that they continue to function as a state-of-the-art, top military defense base in Ohio and our nation.”

Funding for this project is being appropriated from capital funds awarded in House Bill 2, the most recent state capital budget, which was passed into law last year.

This specific project will replace and improve site drainage at a parking lot on the Rickenbacker base to ensure the longevity of the parking lot.
