COLUMBUS—Today, State Rep. Latyna Humphrey (D-Columbus) introduced House Bill (HB) 593, bipartisan legislation to allow campaign funds to cover certain child care costs. Currently, child care costs incurred during campaign events and activities are considered a personal expense and therefore are not eligible for reimbursement.

House Bill (HB) 99 would allow school districts to arm teachers in the classroom without adequate training or safe storage requirements, while HB 227 would eliminate concealed weapon training and safety standards, including penalties for failing to notify police of a concealed weapon during a stop. 

State Rep. Latyna M. Humphrey  (D- Columbus) today announced the start of the open enrollment period for healthcare coverage through the Affordable Care Act (ACA). The open enrollment period will run from Nov. 1 to Jan. 15, 2022, with coverage beginning Jan. 1, 2022.
