Rep. Brent Votes to Strengthen Animal Welfare

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) today made a statement following the unanimous passage of House Bill (HB) 664 in the House Agriculture Committee.

 “HB 664 is a vote for progress, not perfection. HB 664 is a vote for Ohio to better protect our dogs and cats with anti-parasitic medicine,” said Rep. Brent. “With a severe shortage of veterinarians across Ohio, this legislation is a step in the right direction for our shelters. I will continue to fight for comprehensive legislation that addresses the veterinary shortage and protects all animals across our state.”
