State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Amherst) today applauded the Ohio House passage of House Bill (HB) 2, a long-held Democratic priority that would create the Ohio Residential Broadband Expansion Program, specifically designed to bring broadband access to unserved residential households in both rural and urban areas of the state.

“As a co-sponsor of this legislation in the 133rd and 134th General Assembly, I am pleased to see HB 2 pass the House with bipartisan support to provide broadband and internet access to all Ohioans,” said Rep. Miller.

HB 2 now moves to the Ohio Senate for further consideration.
