Rep. Joe Miller's legislation to designate Police Chief Cel Rivera Memorial Highway passes committee

COLUMBUS– State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Lorain) today gave sponsor testimony before the Ohio House Transportation and Public Safety committee on House Bill (HB) 710, to designate a portion of State Route 57 as the Police Chief Cel Rivera Memorial Highway. HB 710 was then voted unanimously out of committee.

“Designating this section of State Route 57 is an opportunity to recognize and honor Police Chief Rivera’s lifelong contributions to his hometown of Lorain,” said Rep. Joe Miller. 

HB 710 now proceeds to the House floor for further consideration.
