COLUMBUS – State Representative Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) shares her condolences over the loss of Robert D. Lindner Sr., who passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022:

COLUMBUS – Legislation to limit water pressure at pools, known as Makenna’s Law (House Bill 178), this week received its second hearing in the Ohio Senate. The bi-partisan bill, sponsored by State Representatives Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) and Adam Miller (D-Columbus), was passed in the House with a vote of 87-8.

COLUMBUS – Legislation to increase breast cancer screening accessibility and early detection to patients is moving forward in the Ohio Senate. House Bill 371, a bi-partisan bill sponsored by State Representatives Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) and Sedrick Denson (D-Cincinnati), received its second hearing in the Senate Health Committee on Wednesday.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Jeff LaRe (R-Violet Township) today was named Vice-Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee by Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Jeff LaRe (R-Violet Township) voted in support of the new two-year state budget that includes major health care reforms as well as tax relief for Ohio families.

COLUMBUS – State Representative Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) this week announced the Ohio Safe Room Rebate Program is now accepting applications. The program provides a rebate to Ohio Homeowners for the purchase and installation of tornado safe rooms.

COLUMBUS – Speaker Larry Householder (R-Glenford) today announced that Jeffrey LaRe (R-Violet Twp.) was selected to represent the 77^th House District, which includes most of Fairfield County. Representative LaRe will replace Senator Tim Schaffer who was selected to serve in the Ohio Senate earlier this month.
