Schmidt Issues Statement on Senate Override of Governor DeWine's Veto of SAFE Act, Save Women's Sports Act

COLUMBUS—State Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) made the following statement on the Ohio Senate’s override of House Bill 68:

"I applaud the Senate for following the House in overriding the Governor’s veto of House Bill 68. This bill will protect Ohio’s children and the integrity of women’s sports.”

The law will go into effect in 90 days.
