COLUMBUS – State Representative Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill) attended the White House State Leadership Conference last week alongside more than 50 Ohio lawmakers and other officials. The White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs organized the conference to foster collaboration and communication between federal, state, and local governments, while providing a forum to discuss shared priorities and policies.

Rep. Stephens discussed the 93rd District’s priorities with numerous senior officials in the Trump Administration, including Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

During the visit, Rep. Stephens directly informed cabinet officials about the 93rd District’s reliance on coal as an energy source and an economic driver. He appreciates the Trump Administration’s continued support of this important resource.

“It was a great honor to visit the White House and meet with the Trump Administration,” noted Representative Stephens. “I look forward to continue working with state and federal officials to support and enhance the 93rd House District.”
