Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari Backs $444,774 through the Ohio Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program for Wood County

State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) backs $444,774 in funding coming to Wood County through the Ohio Building Demolition and Site Revitalization Program. Wood County has received the funding for six various projects.

The program is funded through the state operating budget passed last year with Ghanbari’s support in the Ohio House and will fund the demolition of commercial and residential buildings that are in need of repairs or restructuring. 

“This program is great for our communities as it’s looking to make investments to boost both economic growth and housing, which as a result will hopefully bring more business and create further investments for our region of the state,” Ghanbari said.

Under the state operating budget bill, it allocated a total of approximately $150 million in grants to be dispersed for the program.
