State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) has been named the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters’ 2026 Legislator of the Year in recognition of his support for Ohio’s firefighters, first responders and public safety professionals.

State Rep. Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) announces the passage of Sub. H. B. No. 479, which includes his amendment to establish the Ohio Post-Traumatic Stress Fund Commission and create a clearer pathway for public safety officers to access treatment and support. The legislation now heads to Gov. Mike DeWine for his consideration and signature.

State Representative Haraz N. Ghanbari (R-Perrysburg) voted Wednesday in support of Ohio’s Capital Budget bill, a two-year capital improvements budget totaling nearly $4 billion for community projects and infrastructure needs throughout the state.
